BRENTWOOD

THE FEEL

Brentwood is a shopper’s paradise, boasting the Galleria Mall, The Promenade, Brentwood Square, and more. But don’t let the malls and highways lead you to believe that Brentwood is for visitors only. The “City of Warmth” features a variety of well-cared for homes in many different styles and an excellent school system.

HISTORY

Though Brentwood was officially established in 1919, it had been a thriving suburban town for much longer, serving as a way-station for mail coaches and pioneers heading west. Brentwood today still retains much of this “crossroads” feel, a hub of main roads and highways featuring a number of shopping malls and businesses.

ACCESSIBILITY

Most of Brentwood is easily accessible from highways 64/40 and 170, making it easy to travel to the airport, downtown, out of the city, and everywhere in between. It is minutes from downtown Clayton and the strip in Maplewood.

CULTURE

The City of Brentwood is a progressive community– one that is moving forward while still maintaining an atmosphere that keeps them unique.

ENTERTAINMENT

Brentwood can give you a taste of the good life; wine and cheese aficionados will find several helpful shops and venues, and shoppers can find the latest fashions at Brentwood’s malls and boutiques. An art galleria, a performing arts center, and a ballroom all call Brentwood home as well. Still, being next to two highways, all of the city’s entertainment is easily within reach.

SCHOOLS

Brentwood has excellent schools. This small town is home to Brentwood High School, a 2006 National Blue Ribbon Award winner, and Mark Twain Elementary School, a 2009 National Blue Ribbon Award winner.
